一、基數詞的讀法
1、在英式英語中，一個數的最後兩
位(十位和個位)得用"and''，但美式英語中則不用。如：
3，077（u.s）：three thousand，seventy-seven
2、不定冠詞"a"只在數的開頭才和hundred，thousand等連用。試比較：
146讀作：a hundred(and)forty-six
2，146讀作：two thousand，one hundred(and)forty-six
3、1，000這個整數我們說a thousand，在and前我們也說a thousand，但是在一個有百位數的數目前就得說one thousand，試比較：
1,031讀作：a thousand，(and)thirty-one
1,150讀作：one thousand，one hundred(and)fifty
4、hundred，thousand和million這幾個詞的單數可以和"a"或者"one"連用，但是不能單獨使用。在非正式文體中"a"比較常見；當我們說話比較準確的時候就用"one"，試比較：
i want to live for a hundred years.我想活一百年。
the journey took exactly one hundred days.這次旅行正好花了一百天。
我們常常說eleven hundred(1，100)，twelve hundred(1,200)等，而不說one thousand one hundred。從1，100到1,900之間的整數，這種說法最常見。
二、序數詞的讀法

三、小數的讀法

四、年代及日期的讀法
1、數字表示的年份通常分成兩半來讀：

2、對於日期的表達，英式和美式有所不同，請注意區別：英式先寫日子，美式先寫月份：

加and,但是百與十要加。如果千和百後面直接跟個位數，那讀的時候也要加and~
到1，000,000的時候就要念 one million了；10，000，000是ten million；100，000，000念 one hundred million；1000，000，000念 one billion。依此類推~

英語日期的讀法、寫法和漢語不同，要注意區別。英語中年、月、日的表達方法是「月份+序數詞，年」。
2023年4月2日應該寫成：april 2nd, 2001，讀成：april the second, two thousand and one。

日期寫法宜遵從下列規則：
1)年份必須完全寫明，不可用"04代替2004;
2)月份必須用英文拼出或採用公認的簡寫，即 january (jan.),february (feb.),march(mar.

(sept.),october(oct.),november(nov.),december(dec.);
3)日期可用序數詞，如：1st,2nd,3rd,4th,...；也可用基數詞，如：1，2，3，4，...。但美式大多采用後者；
